Powder Brow After Care
Immediately following your procedure the brows will appear to be bold in color and more sharply defined. Do not touch the brow area following the procedure without clean hands.

DO NOT APPLY ANY SOAP OR CLEANSER OF ANY SORT THAT IS NOT PROVIDED TO YOU.

Swelling and redness is minimal with most clients and will disappear within 24-48 hours. In some cases, it may last around the eyebrow area for up to three days, but will not prevent working or socializing. The treated area may feel like a sunburn with minimal discomfort.

No makeup, tinting of lashes/brows, gardening, sun exposure, sauna, swimming in chlorine pools or recreational bodies of water, or direct contact with animals on procedure area for 7-10 days (or until area is completely healed) post procedure and after all touch ups.

Do not get brows wet when showering. While healing - avoid hot showers, saunas, hot yoga, or any other activity that involves perspiration.

DO NOT PICK THE BROWS. This will result in pigment loss and could also result in scarring.
Do not apply make up to the treated area for 2 weeks (or until completely peeled). Chemicals of any sort can interfere with healing.

The complete healing process takes about 6 weeks. During this time your tattoo will soften and lighten. Be patient, as your skin is naturally regenerating and exfoliating. Wait 6 weeks to see the true color. Keep in mind that healed results are smaller in size and 30-40% lighter.

If you have excessive redness, swelling, tenderness, or any red streaks going from the procedure site toward the heart, elevated temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site, contact your physician as medical care may be needed.

All permanent makeup procedures are a two-step process. Any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at anytime.

Once Healed
Prolonged sun exposure overtime will cause fading and discoloration of pigment. Facial SPF of 30 or higher is recommended daily for optimal retention.

Keep exfoliation over the tattooed area to a minimum. Brightening and exfoliating skincare products that contain ingredients such as vitamins A/C, retinol, kojic acid, azelaic acid, niacinamide, glycolic acid, lactic acid, and any other fruit enzyme should be kept away from the brow area. Use of these ingredients will cause premature fading and possible pigment discoloration.

With future skincare procedures such as chemical peels, Microdermabrasions, and laser treatments; always inform your technician about your tattoo so that the area can be avoided.

HYDRATE! Keeping the brows moisturized keeps your color looking fresh.
